Studio Fritz combines West Coast modern organic design with traditional Japanese and Danish carpentry techniques. The studio focuses exclusively on solid wood and fitted joints. A Fritz is timeless, durable and transitional.

Lucas Fritz Weyand is a fine furniture maker. In his early years he found great fulfillment in working with his hands, from chopping firewood to building and fixing for others. He discovered and nurtured his talent for fine woodworking first as an artistic outlet and then into his life’s dedication.

The ‘Studio Fritz’ name is an homage to Lucas’ great great grandfather, Fritz Reichl, a renowned Austrian architect and furniture maker.

The studio is owned and operated by Lucas Weyand and his partner Eliza Chiang, a visual artist and designer.
